I think Google is shutting down AntiGravity. There aren't any developers working on it, are there?

Closing the DVP during a weekend with the Blue Jays, TFC, and Mother’s Day isn't planning - it’s congestion by choice. And because no one in the Mayor’s Office cared enough to check the calendar, thousands of Torontonians will be stuck in gridlock this weekend. A city we can be proud of plans ahead. And doesn’t stack major closures on top of major events. torontosun.com/news/local-new…

Toronto drivers seem to have had enough of the constant single-file idling on Bathurst and are now driving as they please. Do you agree with this act of civil rebellion? 🤔

Employees that have been working at Google for a while are getting pretty rich People most commonly “won’t touch” the equity they earn while working at a company They never sell Yet they would never think that way with a stock in their brokerage account People are fascinating

Mark Carney’s government is thinking about privatizing airports to attract investment, and cut travel costs. Do you think this is a good idea?

I think Musk will lose this case against OpenAI and Sam Altman. And may even be asked to pay up some token compensation for some damage. To the reputation of OpenAI & Altman, instead of getting any damages. So let's forget $150 billion that Musk is asking. Not going to happen. Why I think so? This is a jury decided case in a state like California. Most in the jury will be anti-Elon and leftists. Even if not, they are likely to be influenced against him in due course. Fighting DS backed people who want to ID everyone and have a one world system is futile, imo. But all the best to Elon. He did invest in OpenAI in good faith as a non-profit "open" AI.
The Wall Street Journal@WSJ

Elon Musk took the stand Tuesday and lawyers representing Sam Altman began opening statements in a landmark trial that could potentially upend OpenAI’s future. on.wsj.com/3P97HGL

@GergelyOrosz I feel a big reset is coming. SWEs that are highly more productive with AI will be paid a lot more. Does Big Tech feel it's easier to lay off people for this readjustment, or not, is the big question.

They are paying this much for standout software engineers - who can generate better software, faster, using Claude Code vs “just” avg sw engineers (who do OK with it.) AI amplifies existing ability, and the best in any indusrty (who learn to use these tools) are in more demand

Google is on its way to building the best personal intelligence. Most of us already use Gmail, Drive, Google Photos, YouTube, and Search. Gemini Personal Intelligence is still in early , yet it’s already performing extremely well. In a year or two, this could get so good that I don’t see myself using anything else for personal intelligence. I ran a few more tests. It can pull your YT history, recommend things based on your interests , show photos from Google Photos, and check your email and so on.

Gemini Personal Intelligence is pretty amazing. I gave it access to a few things, and it’s able to pull details quite easily. It still struggles at times, but it’s a good start.
