The system is built to deliver industry-grade radiometric performance comparable to Sentinel 2, with enhanced spatial resolution (5m VNIR) and a total of 22 spectral bands across visible, near-infrared, shortwave infrared, and thermal regimes 🚀

One of my core life principles is not to buy large expensive items intended for fun. This includes: fishing boats, jet skis, vacation homes, RVs, trampolines, horses, planes. Robert Altman said in Interview magazine once, “If it floats, flies or [fornicates], rent it.” What you are really buying is a fantasy of all the fun stuff you are going to do. It almost never lives up to the fantasy. Obviously, if you are very wealthy none of this really matters.

They could have rented premium lake houses across the country every single summer for $12,000. And kept the additional compounding in their portfolio with far less problems to deal with. They were tired of the headaches. They just listed it. "We thought it would bring the family together." The family came twice. Real estate feels like an asset BUT it can turn into an expensive hobby with a deed.

Two insights from one of our open source project maintainer calls today: 1) Maintainers are overwhelmed with sloppy vibecoded PRs 2) The problem with the vibecoded PRs is that the AIs don't understand an entire codebase, especially when it's a big one, so they propose fixes and improvements that make sense for one file, but completely miss the dependencies and context of other files in the rest of the codebase. The context window is not large enough to pull in the entire codebase. Maybe OpenClaw-style agent swarms can ultimately solve this, but it hasn't yet. It's going to get worse before it gets better
