Lots of weak thinkers here. You should read "The Demon Haunted World" by Carl Sagan.

AI progress shouldn’t make intelligence more expensive. The real goal is the opposite: make intelligence cheaper to produce over time. That doesn’t happen through bigger models. It happens through better systems. See how we're making that happen: neurometric.ai

There are two paths to better AI: 1. Scale the model ↑ tokens ↑ energy ↑ cost 2. Optimize the system · routing · smaller models · inference-time compute · verification Both improve performance. But only one reduces the cost of intelligence. Optimization > Scaling.

Good explanation of why MAGA persists. Fear-driven snowflakes afraid of the truth. No matter how much data you show them on something like voter fraud (its non-existent), or tariffs (they don't work) they stick with their feelings over the data.

Seven Americans are dead, and over 100 are wounded. Thousands of Iranians have died, including over 100 schoolgirls. America might be responsible for those 100+ school girls. Whoever is making these, and whoever is approving them, just.... stop.

AI is having a Napster moment. OpenClaw hit 250k GitHub stars in 4 months. Faster than React did in 13 years. Running it for one person is easy. Running it for a whole team is where things get messy. We built Clawbake to solve one piece of that. Open source, Apache 2.0.

CIOs should look to the recent past, with the cloud era as a cautionary tale. IT leaders have complained about the costs of single-vendor cloud deployments for years. As AI goes deeper into operations and moves faster than cloud ever did, the time to build for optionality is now, before the lock-in happens and switching costs become material. - @cooper_nyc_ @NeuroMetricAI @CIOonline cio.com/article/413767…

@cbaakel Awesome. Would you want to try our platform at Neurometric? We do this at scale. Would give it to you free to try. If so DM me.

@robmay Strong agreement with this - we just did a benchmark on building a care management harness for 7 LLMs and can get a model that's 1/5 of the cost of a frontier model to 99% of the performance, without any hits on clinical quality.

..with passports and easy access to government offices. It's optimizing for a problem that barely exists (Utah reviewed over 2 million registered voters and found only one confirmed instance of noncitizen registration and zero instances of noncitizen voting)

The GOP has built a narrative around voter fraud to justify these laws, but their coalition — rural, older, working-class, married women who've changed their names — is arguably more vulnerable to documentation barriers than the Dem coalition of urban, educated, younger voters..
Rob May@robmay

Because he knows that the second order effects will work against this implementation and it will hurt the GOP. It will actually lower Republican voter turnout, not Democrats. Most of you aren't systems thinkers so I know you don't understand that. But that's why.
