Well, as Twitter has forced my client app of choice to shut down, I guess I'm not using this website very much any more. It's been nice meeting and chatting to loads of you. But I cannot be fucked with this thing without Tweetbot. So, er, bye, I guess.

What I truly love about this clip is the way that Jeff and Vinnie both get out of the way for and absolutely love Tal’s solo. No ego whatsoever, just mutual appreciation for a fellow musician at the top of their game. Wonderful.

@AndrewJ_XIII It does, and the scaling fucking SUCKS. Lack of checkpoints is utter arsegravy too.

@Grumpyrocker They do tend to look better IRL, but that’s fair criticism. I kind of want a PRS to be a little less flashy, whilst I’d like a cool top on an Ibanez or Schecter were I going that way. I know I’m unusual in that though!

@robmcauslan this new one is very much in the lineage of The Giant and GLen Carrig, continuing to balance the prog and doom in equal elements. theres also more of those Opethian little atmospheric riffs bridging the gap between those two spaces. just phenomenal
