Rep. Anna Paulina Luna steals the show on Bill Maher’s Real Time as she drops a White House insider’s take on the Iran war.
Here’s what she revealed that Maher had no clue about:
• Operations are winding down in Iran
• Trump has been clear in private conversations that he doesn’t want boots on the ground.
• The Iranians had what Luna described as a “Nazir plan” before the most recent strike, meaning any attack could have triggered immediate retaliation.
• That retaliation, she and others believe, could have led to mass casualties for U.S. troops in the region.
• She would oppose boots on the ground, even if Trump supported it. But as she said earlier, that scenario was never seriously on the table to begin with.
MAHER: “Well, you seem to know some stuff we don’t.”
LUNA: “Well, that’s why I’m here.”
MAHER: “Did you know this shit, Paul?”
PAUL BEGALA: “No, I’m glad you’re here.”
If that Anna Paulina Luna moment stood out to you, there’s a lot more where that came from.

@irishrygirl @FrankLuntz lol. Iran was cheating on the Obama-Biden deal and was clearly rapidly working towards a nuclear weapons program. We have the receipts on this.
They had many off ramps and choose to strive to be a nuclear power
English

@FrankLuntz We had a 15 year plan that did all of that, but Trump blew it up like it was a Venezuelan boat

The U.S. wants Iran to make 6 commitments:
1️⃣ No missile program for 5 years.
2️⃣ Zero uranium enrichment.
3️⃣ Decommissioning of nuclear reactors.
4️⃣ Arms control treaties with regional countries.
5️⃣ No financing for regional proxies.
6️⃣ Strict outside observation protocols around the creation and use of centrifuges.

@DaddyWarpig It works great IF you have total control of airspace and your adversary isn't carrying SAM's
We so devastated Iran's operational capability that it works here, but that wouldn't be true if we went to war with China or Russia

Apparently, the Persian Gulf is providing a real-time test of the notion that the A-10 is so imprecise that it couldn't hit the broad side of Utah.
They're hunting and killing speedboats in the Gulf, which means they most certainly can hunt and kill tanks.
This loitering, monitoring, and prosecuting mission is something the F-35 certainly can't do, while the Warthog can.
The death of the A-10 has not only been exaggerated, trying to kill it seems to have been a massive mistake.

@robolivermd @DrGuitar You said "one hit", now it's "one album". You are moving the goalposts.
In any way, both Use your Ilusion albums are quite good and have sell a lot. Hardly a one album wonder in my opinion.

@robolivermd @KyleTuckerCBB What about @woffordcollege ? No one from those schools has owned an NFL team or started the Savannah bananas. And we graduate less than 400 students a year. 99% acceptance rate to med and law school of your choice.

Something is breaking in the global financial system.
Most people can feel it.
Almost no one can explain it.
I spent years studying why—and wrote a book about it.
Here’s the core idea in 10 points:
1. The dollar isn’t backed by anything—only trust
2. That trust started cracking in 2014
3. Sanctions weaponized the financial system
4. In 2022, the world saw reserves could be seized
5. That changed everything
6. Nations began quietly looking for alternatives
7. Debt is now growing faster than the economy
8. Interest payments are becoming unmanageable
9. This system doesn’t collapse overnight—it erodes, then snaps
10. Bitcoin is the first credible exit
If you understand this, you’re early.
If you don’t, you’re not ready for what’s coming.
My book explains the full picture:

There’s a lot of handwringing about @CBSNews shutting down CBS Radio.
No one listens to the radio.
To not shut it down would be like keeping a typewriter store open.
Yes it’s sad people are losing their jobs. They’ll have to retire or learn a new skill like the rest of us.
Be mad at @bariweiss all you want, she’s right. Radio is obsolete. It had to go.

@ImtiazMadmood Trump is an "imperfect" messenger, but yeah it's ok to say that after 80+ yrs, WW2 doesn't have to define our relationship anymore

Do you truly understand what Japan just gained? As a Japanese citizen, I’m telling you—this moment changed history.
Trump's Pearl Harbor joke wasn't an insult. It was the key that finally unlocked something buried deep in the Japanese soul.
For 80 long years, we've carried apology and guilt like a permanent shadow—haunted by the past, bound by the Constitution America wrote for us, forever in "reflection mode." He turned that raw wound into a shared laugh between equals.
No more endless atonement. No more vassal shadow.
The curse is broken. Japan is free now.
Thank you, Mr. President.
We're allowed to stand tall again—as true partners, not subordinates. The strongest alliance in the world is rising—equals, brothers, ride-or-die.

@pe_tsar Including Houston as the Deep South while excluding Tyler, Longview and Texarkana is idiotic

@pe_tsar The word southern only apply to the Deep South area.. the other areas are NOT southern

@QGaslighter He's already got power, but Unless he becomes a dominant server, he's unfortunately going to be too limited on court coverage to regularly compete with Sinner or Alcaraz.
Mensik is less talented but better equipped to compete just because he's a near serve bot with a great BH
English

@sinnerazenjoyer @BarclayCard18 It wasn't a close match. Alcaraz was on cruise control
English

@BarclayCard18 here come the stupid comments from haters🔥 joao's performance was a bit worse than IW, but still, he lost 6-4 6-4 (and not 6-1 6-2) against an excellent version of carlitos, who proved who's in charge right now. keep it up, joao. and work on that bh return lol
