The amount of popping off and chirping in @NCAABaseball is out of control. Coaching staffs need to do a better job in teaching players to respect the game & those who play it. It’s a tired act…

@abarkett17 @bradledwith @NCAABaseball I've actually seen coaches "get on" their guys for NOT cheering. Some coaches require "chatter" from their guys. When a team is losing, and the chatter continues...anger. Then when a player does something spectacular, it all pours out. It's very primal. How does it get stopped?

I suspect that before hand there was some serious back & forth that escalated to that point. As usual, I'd bet excessive celebration started it all. So where do you draw that line without killing spirit?

I will agree to one thing.... College sports are ALOT about money... When money enters the fray emotions get high. Coaches are not immune.

Don’t know what you’re talking about. I am suggesting is that coaches, teach players, to respect the game & those who play it

@abarkett17 @bradledwith @NCAABaseball I'm not saying brawls are a good thing...consider that rival HS towns are always getting into it...If every HS brawl was televised, of course people would say its "out of control"...but its not. Because HS sports aren't covered at all, not even locally. College is...NOW.

The term "good old fashion basebrawl" is a term often used. Why is it "old fashion"... how would college be excluded?

The Steelers have a WR on the roster who runs a 4.3, finished top 4 in every agility drill, and has an athleticism grade of 87. Has one of the only explosive TD receptions on the season. Apparently nobody knows how to get him in space or down the field vertically.

@PJNeal7 Daily, they are going hard in the wt. rm, taking 000's grnd balls & hitting in the cage. A gm. groundball here/there isn't enough...A few gm ABs isn't enough...Cost / Benefit imbalance i.e. putting $ elsewhere: trainers, hitting coaches, new equip. Taking the off-season approach.
