Thanks for all the concern, she’s bruised and shaken up because one more step and she probably wouldn’t be here. If anyone has any info or knows anyone who lives that any support much appreciated.

Last night my best friend in the whole world got hit by a car whilst crossing Yateley Road in Harborne Birmingham, as they turned right and didn’t stop to turn from Harborne Road at high speed, and the car didn’t stop, just drove off. This was between 5.55 - 6.03. Were you around, did you see anything? Do you live on Yateley Road, might you have a camera on your front door, any footage of a car speeding off around this time? cc. @for_birmingham

Fascinating. Not sure if @jasonhickel has seen this ad at St Panchras station in London, but fascinating when your book cover is so 'of the zeitgeist' that advertisers co-opt and undermine it in this way. Personally I'm more convinced by the rigour of his arguments than theirs.

Today I can share I'm challenging the PM on the legality of abandoning key Net Zero commitments I believe the timeline for the UK to meet Net Zero cannot be changed at will by the PM – I contend that he does not have the legal right The ball is in your court , Prime Minister

A short film about why the dirtiest and most antisocial economic interests dominate our politics. I believe it's the key to understanding the terrible state we're in.

After visiting her #Malmö schools, school friends, favourite parks, cafes, beaches, sauna etc etc the Malibob convened a family meeting to lobby for a return to #Sweden. Hard to argue with her logic…!

@GaryLineker It is time to own up to what is causing this: the suicidal behaviour of the addict who is close to rock bottom. Our economy is a late-stage addictive system, complete with near-fatal consumption and little satisfaction at any dosage. It can only end in either death or sobriety.

Today is a bit difficult for me, as it is for many. It forces me to think about sadness and loss. But I am focusing on the joy and love my children bring me (as well as these beautiful cards and flowers).

@PictureSporting Hello! Do you know of any pictures of 1930s England opener Charlie Barnett? My wife is his granddaughter and I’d love find some photos for her.

Lloyd, playing his second Test, batted seven hours 38 minutes and hit 17 fours - the lack of boundaries was in part due to the lushness of the outfield. It was the highest score of his career.

@Vic_Gill Hi Victoria, I was taught drumming by Jibu Faal, a Gambian Drum Master, years ago and he explained some very sophisticated ways in which drummers had, for countless generations, performed the function for which we ‘developed’ cultures use news crews! Worth a chat?
