@techczech @Ixel111 @OpenAIDevs Unfortunately the manufacturing/defense world has to live in windows thanks to “cybersecurity” requirements. I wish AI companies would learn this

It’s Codex Thursday, and yes, we have updates for you. First up: Appshots, a new way to bring the context of what you’re working on into Codex. On your Mac, press Command-Command to attach your app window to a Codex thread. Codex gets both a screenshot and text from the window, including content beyond what’s visible onscreen. Appshots are available across plans on Mac, with enterprise access coming soon.

@antigravity Should have been a separate product. Without the editor, this is worthless to me. Now I literally have to spend tens of hours converting peoples workflows back to other code editors while losing weeks of productivity.

@antigravity This 2.0 version is an abomination. Without having the code editor integrated, it's worthless. I don't need another GUI for a terminal, I need to do meaningful work. Had a good run, back to Cursor I guess.

Just wanted to give a big thank you to all of you that enjoy & show love for my recent guides. I always wanted to make content that helped others but recording videos offstream always made me feel awkward which made me find excuses. Seeing all of you enjoying it and giving me such positive feedback really means a lot.

My current thoughts: -This affects just the top .1% of golfers. -what the USGA is proposing, it’s not going to roll it to the degree that those that are for the rollback wants. -The rollback ball affects some players a lot but barely affect others. It depends on ur launch conditions -This will make distance even more important and even more of an advantage -There’s not a lot of faith in the Usga with their ideas and the implementation of these ideas -Bifurcation is what’s needed to make serious changes but plenty of people find value in one rule set (which I find less important than others)
Adam Schupak@AdamSchupak

Based on reporting with several player directors on the Tour board and PAC, there still is little support on PGA Tour for the golf ball rollback. Hard to think Brian Rolapp will go on an island & back governing bodies on this one. Something’s gotta give: golfweek.usatoday.com/story/sports/g…

I feel so behind with AI. Where is the best place to start / what do I do/use for someone who is as far as occasionally talking to grok? I know there’s Anthropic vs. OpenAI, only because I’ve seen debates. I have zero clue where to go for resources or what is actually best…

Every time I use number inputs, I wonder if I would be better off without a text one. The "Up/Down" buttons are super small, hard to click, increase way too fast and need extra space in the input. Am I the only one?

@neogoose_btw As long as I know it’s working then speed isn’t super important. When it takes 30 seconds to get a small response then it’s no bueno.

What a horrendous take Players were “forced” to take massive multi million dollar checks and then sue the very tour that gave them the platform to make names for themselves mostly because they weren’t paid their PIP money. Was everything perfect? Obviously not but to say they were forced? Thats laughable

My own break 100 90 80 around the green 🧵 Break 100 -Use putter whenever possible. 56 degree if not. -For the bump and run with 56 Feet together. Feet about 1ft from the ball. Hands ahead of the ball and feel like it’s the body doing all the work. No hands no wrist. -Don’t worry about getting it super close. Focus on good contact. (For good contact hands have to stay ahead and head to stay tall)

@iamtrask 95% of real work done in industrial US is done with Windows. Federal contracts lock us in to using Windows only tools in the name of cybersecurity. Eventually AI people will make something usable for the practical sphere. Until then, glhfdd.
