@alec_xi @rockandtree2 @A_dmg04 I have never used the artifact for champ stun, I always incorporated the abilities into it, radiant for barrier, slow/jolt for overload, ignition for unstoppable etc

It wouldn’t be a Destiny release if you couldn’t bump a boss off a ledge.

@alec_xi @touma03425042 @A_dmg04 Why can't you admit limiting the game like this is poor design and is the exact reason they introduced verb stun in the first place was to let us use more weapons and because people complained about how limited the game was with the artifacts.

@Krispykreme21 @A_dmg04 You say adapt but it's not a case of adapt it's a case of I don't want the pool of available anti champion to be so limited for no reason. With the ability stuns anything could stun barrier as long as you proced radiant so why cant you admit it would just be better?

@rockandtree2 @A_dmg04 Sir if I may. Champion mods in general have always forced you to play a certain way. This system is better and more adaptable to more play styles. And besides that champions are hardly an issue with how much damage we do nowadays. Just adapt lol.

@Krispykreme21 @A_dmg04 Barrier is the only real problem as both the others still have ability stun plus their new weapons changes. Barrier you CAN'T DAMAGE if you don't have an anti barrier and if you need like in my case a solar legendary weapon do you know how many exit? 25 and I personally have 8

@Krispykreme21 @A_dmg04 While this may be true the update was to let us play our way however it actively hinders that and limits options. Barrier stun is the most prominent one because now instead of just procing one of the verbs on any weapon you now have a funnel that gets smaller for example

@rockandtree2 @A_dmg04 it really its as simple as jus changing one of your guns. you can probably get the exact same roll on an archetype with the anti-barrier at this point

@VinityETH @lIhavoc @A_dmg04 I'm just a bit sad I finally lost them is all especially when i feel as though making the champion mods selectable would make me and everyone that shares my issue happy as well as those who aren't affected happy. Who knows maybe they will see this and adjust it🤞

@VinityETH @lIhavoc @A_dmg04 Thank you for being so kind alot of the people responding aren't. I am sadly aware of the folly of my plight but I am passionate, autistic and desperate so I must try. And i have already changed my builds I just am sad I made them post lightfall to survive any major game changes

@alec_xi @A_dmg04 I do hope I have expressed my opinion to you in an adequate manner. I enjoy having the dialogue even if we disagree because it shows at least we are both passionate and I do respect your differences in opinion. At the end of the day we are brothers in arms so it's all love.

@rockandtree2 @A_dmg04 Adaptives. Precision frames. A bunch of exotics. Caster swords. Disruption snipers. I’m probably missing something, but there’s no way your build can’t swap out one weapon for any of those options. Even for solo players, they just added over a hundred guns into the loot pool.

@alec_xi @A_dmg04 Now imagine doing that for every build from now on instead of just popping radiant and making everything viable as a barrier tool. It is just plain worse I'm not advocating removal because I like the changes for the most part but if it was just made optional it would be better.

@alec_xi @A_dmg04 Now and 5 of those are different roles on a trace rifle ( which doesn't do chunk damage) now even if I include all of the other guns including snipers which I hate that leaves me 6 guns not even counting if the guns are good or have good rolls or even work for my build.

@alec_xi @A_dmg04 After the minus exotics and mandated barrier is 112 weapons including duplicates in my vault. Now it has to fit into my build which i use solar damage mods on. So it has to be solar that brings the count to 32. Now i need a special weapon for chunking so that brings it to 11

@alec_xi @A_dmg04 Look it looks like alot of weapons but when you actually try to build it isn't. I for example. I'll use a solar consecration build I run. I use Monte Carlo so that eliminates all exotics and kinetic. Now there are 1606 weapons in this game I have acquired 908.

@Creatoroflyfe @A_dmg04 However I don't want to have to use it on that build for the foreseeable future. Would it not be better to just bring back the barrier verbs and make the weapon champ stuns toggleable? So everyone can play their way including you with the new system?

@Creatoroflyfe @A_dmg04 In my vault currently the number is 10 including duplicates. With 7 of those being either sniper or trace rifle which I hate using. So I am limited to 2 weapons one of which is a really old shotgun I didn't know i had and a crafted fusion rifle. Now I do actually use the fusion

@Creatoroflyfe @A_dmg04 However now I need a barrier. Now it may seem like no problem but if you do the math it does become one. Rough estimate 1/3 of all guns are barrier now eliminate exotics and first slot you got a much smaller pool. Eliminate primary ammo and non solar ( damage mods) you have less

@Creatoroflyfe @A_dmg04 Solar titan did unstoppable and barrier and I would overpower overload with a GL. Now the only two weapons that mattered were Monte and a special weapon for chunking it was pretty flexible i could use radiant on all of my guns so i had no problems
