In 2021 if you thought Stone wasn’t very good at his job you were called racists on here btw. Look at us now. He genuinely built a 15 man roster with 2.5 shooters, 1.5 ball handlers & people think hes a t5 gm in the league. Be careful whos opinion you value on here.

I still think it’s hard to hold Stone accountable. A lot of bad luck
But otherwise agree with this sentiment. They won’t do it for real world reasons, but the most purely logical thing to do would be to smash the reset button

The hard ass coaching method can only get you so far. Ime just isn’t built to coach a contender & Stone can’t build a modern roster. Just reset the timeline. If you hit the reset button you have more assets than the entire league. Obviously hit the reset with a diff gm tho

Sengun has been putting the team on his back for the last week and the Rockets have nothing to show for it. I’ve been watching this team for more than 3 decades and this might be the most pathetic and embarrassing season of them all. Seats better be sizzling hot this summer.

A certain crowd will tell you its not imes fault, but also not stones fault. Oh and they’ll tell you to not trade the core of the team.

@rocketsjack10 Stone/Patrick and Ime are to blame. Injuries hurt too. Dumb ass CBA didn’t do the Rockets any favor. A lot of our young players are mid. Tari is easily the biggest letdown. It’s also good to see Amen take a mid season leap the past few weeks. I’m looking forward to the summer.

This is also why I say the vision for how to make this roster a real contender around Amen-KD-Sengun is very clear. Get rid of EVERYONE who cannot make threes at an elite clip on volume and replace them with guys who can.
