In the past 3 weeks, Dope has dealt with a slew of bad PR. We are new operators and acknowledge that we have made a mistake in the past in dealing with @Mactries. This should have been handled and paid in a far more timely manner and Mac has been paid and sorted out. On that note, we @ Dope want to apologize to the broader X community and specifically the gambling community for not being immediately transparent. What we found is that the “attack” we mentioned earlier this week was not relevant to casino players, and only sports. About 30 unique PlayerIDs were onboarded to dope for sports betting specifically surrounding the World Cup and action therein, all claiming legitimate action and a genuine desire to play on dope. Dope team and risk management was told by the agents who referred these players that they would only come and play on the condition of 20% resetting lossback, which while we knew was tremendously -EV to the casino, we welcomed the play and hoped that the goodwill gesture would spur high roller retention and legitimate sports play. What followed was deliberate and coordinated sharp play, advantage play, and wagering on fix matches. In almost every case, regardless of the odds provider notifying our risk management team that these things were occurring, Dope paid out on time and without hesitation. At this juncture, a group of players (who supposedly don’t know each other but all came from the same agent) ask for slight limit increases. We grant the limit increases, state that we want all action, and wait to see what unfolds. Now, the players start to get sloppy. Player X tells his agents that Player Y is controlling his account and he wants to “move over his account so its no longer under his friends control”. At this point, Dope realizes and coordinates login times, IP addresses, and bet slips, and it is quite clear on the admin side that we have been both dealing with sharp/rigged sports syndicate action and were taken advantage of. In turn, we allow all players to withdraw, allow Player X to withdraw his initial deposit + some profit, and then we let the players know we are aware of the scam that they have been running. We are actively co-operating with law enforcement relative to the aforementioned individuals. A couple of things we want to make abundantly clear: 1) Dope has and always will pay all legitimate action for casino. We are a growing entity and we acknowledge that mistakes may be made along the way, but we will always do the right thing in the end. 2) Dope will not be blackmailed or take any further action from sharp/fixed match sports syndicates. Anyone attempting to place or placing this action and/or blackmail this team privately or publicly will not be paid and will be permanently banned from Dope for doing so for violating TOS. We have a lot of exciting updates coming to the community in the coming weeks that we hope will reassure you all in that deposits and withdrawals are SAFU, as well as genuinely unique gambling and affiliate experiences we hope you all will love. In the interest of transparency, comment below if you have an outstanding balance on dope that hasnt been paid out, and we can discuss and address this publicly for the community to see. Thank you!
