This is possibly the single most stupidest idea ever. It doesn’t align to any climate and environment goals, it sets preference on unnecessary car usage. This must be undone!

Do people think that the physical fence is going to be torn down? This isn’t the Berlin Wall. The fence will remain but the crossings will be unrestricted

@LlanitoWorld The salt water system is supplied and maintained by Aquagib but the sewage plant is going to be constructed and maintained by a private company. Everyone’s water bills are bound to go up to pay for this.

@rockfallgib I think you'll find that except where it is protecting property (airfield, bassadone, petrol station, tunnel) all fencing will be removed. Even western beach fence (not the MOD property)

@Playtus1 And the fence to the other side will remain due Four Corners estate. If any section of fence comes down, it’ll be barely more than 100m

@rockfallgib The fence to the airport will come down. Beyond the commercial gate the fence will remain due to the fact the land is leased to store vehicles and other commercial items.
