I was close to buying half-season tickets this year, but after watching what Darche has (or rather hasn’t) done this offseason, I told my ticket rep, “Thanks, but no thanks.” The product on the ice simply isn’t worth my hard-earned money right now. #isles

As of today, The Islanders will be 10th-14th in the Eastern Conference next season. No playoffs for 2-3 years. not because of our prospects failing, but because of the old, slow, has beens they refuse to move out..If you can't understand that, there's no hope for you..

Tell Barzal, Horvat, Sorokin, and Schaefer that next year we will be very aggressive in acquiring talent. But I still think that Darche could more or less execute this way. He just has less picks to do it with.

The whole plan going back to when Darche took over was for the prospects/youth to take over in 2 years. Two windows and it was never changing: Next 2 years: Try to stay competitive while infusing the kids one by one Next 3-5 years: Youth movement takes over and hopefully the window to complete consistently for a Cup opens.

I’d just like to point out that Barzal does play a small role in how things transpired: -Decision against OTT cost them a point -His decision with the puck led to PHI’s first goal on Friday -His no-look pass in the o-zone led to CAR’s first goal on Saturday

Look, the players deserve blame just as much as Roy. However, you can’t say what he said in the clip below just two days ago after his team no-showed the biggest game of the season and the two previous ones before that. It’s completely unacceptable. #Isles

#isles early season offense has dried up big time. Just no jam to their game. Now minus Palmieri with no suitable NHL replacement, could be a slog from here on out. Pager injury has obviously hurt as well, but let’s be honest. He’s not getting 30-30.
