Hal Needham requested Jerry Reed to write a theme song for "Smokey and the Bandit" (1977). Jerry Reed came up with the iconic theme song, "East Bound and Down" overnight. When he played it for Needham, judging by his reactions, Reed thought that the song wasn't good enough & offered to rewrite the song if Needham found it unsatisfactory. Needham replied, "You change one word, one note and I'll choke ya". P.S: On this day, 49 years ago, "Smokey and the Bandit" (1977) premiered in New York City, USA.

@hellbenthagen I have no markings on mine. DOT lady tried inspecting me with that I'm going to write some tickets gleam in her eye. And I told her to check the front plate (government plates) she yelled at me to get out of her scale, only reason I pull in is so they don't waste time chasing me

Absolutely no markings of any kinds. They can't track you if you don't exist. 🤔

@GuidoMotorz Some charge a 2 hour minimum diagnostic time and that doesn’t even go towards the repair.

I ask the service writer at KW dealer what's the labor rate as I hand him my keys, he says $211 per hour! I'm like WTF, he says where you been, I said the same place you been and that's a record. I told him if you dont figure it out in an hour stop.
