@nickwillis @MichaelWhiting Yes, don't why he didn't do this since he did it at recent Euros. Neutralise disadvantage of leading, get them to jostle to get on his shouder. Just fast enought to hold the lead while gradually racheting it up. Worked for Viren in 76 5k, Centro in 16, and Mo most of the time.

Hocker won that race, and deservedly so. But what made that an all timer, is that Kerr, Nuguse and Ingebrigsten all could have won with slightly different tactics. Nuguse let Hocker around him on the back straight Kerr went wide on the final turn Jakob led too far

In 1997, Hans Eysenck died the most cited psychologist in the world. THEN he was posthumously cancelled. An enquiry said his work was "unsafe" Code for "problematic but TRUE" Eysenck studied human intelligence and discovered 8 traits common to geniuses across history. A thread:
