Residence of Evil released this live-action fan film, Resurrection: A Biohazard Story, to celebrate the franchise’s 30th anniversary 🧟 It features the original cast from the 1996 Resident Evil cutscenes: Charlie Kraslavsky (Chris Redfield), Greg Smith (Barry Burton), Eric Pirius (Albert Wesker), and Linda (Rebecca Chambers). Jill Valentine also appears, played by a different actress. Additionally, the film includes iconic voices from the franchise, such as those of Pablo Kuntz, Joe Whyte, and Ward Sexton. Directed by Andrew Saullo (who also directed The Keeper’s Diary: A Biohazard Story) and written by Adi Attavane, the story takes place in 2021 in the Mexican town of Rosa Enferma, where a new biohazard outbreak emerges years after the mansion incident. The heroes must face the danger and come face-to-face with Albert Wesker once again.
