Spanish PM Pedro Sánchez: Starting next week, my government will implement the following actions: First, we will change the law in Spain to hold platform executives legally accountable for many infringements taking place on their sites. Second, we will turn algorithmic manipulation and amplification of illegal content into a new criminal offense. Third, we will implement a hate and polarization footprint system to track, quantify, and expose how digital platforms fuel division and amplify hate. Fourth, Spain will ban access to social media for minors under the age of 16. Platforms will be required to implement effective age verification systems — not just checkboxes, but real barriers that work. Fifth and last, my government will work with our public prosecutor to investigate and pursue the infringement committed by Grok, TikTok, and Instagram.

I just shipped an integration TrustMRR 🤝 DataFast. When connected, startup pages show: 📈 Unique visitors for the selected period 🇺🇸 Top 5 countries making money 🔗 Top 5 referrers making money This should also help buyers of the marketplace filter out the best startups. Next, I'll add Google Analytics (🥲).

💸 I now passed $100,000 made from shitposting since X started to pay me for posting in April last year! This month was another $10,000 month: $8,293 ad rev share $1,218 subs revenue (=$9,511 per 28 days) = $10,360/month The rise in views/followers was mostly related to my trip to Singapore, Japan and especially China I posted a lot of stories and videos (and still have a few I have to post soon) which also helped get to 120,000,000 monthly views with almost 50,000 new followers in a month too, both records for me I think I don't think it fully paid for the trip though (it doesn't have to) but we are getting somewhat close to where it actually could pay for it, which is cool because that means you can really have paid citizen journalism on here!

Why almost every hotel in Europe use those automatic coffee machines for breakfast?? In Indonesia, Africa and many other places I always see one barista making really good coffee fresh for you. This weekend I saw 5 waiters just standing and talking… they could make real espresso and give much better service! No big cost change.

Next tier for PostgreSQL DigitalOcean, is 2-3x more expensive that will probably help (doubles vCPUs) but at the current early stages i would like to avoid that

Having some common issues with Postgres (v 17). Once a day, I need to ingest large amounts of data that create CPU spikes to 100%. Using DO smallest tier (1 GB RAM / 1vCPU) which is good enough most of the time, so looking for alternatives that's not doubling vCPUs
