You asked, we listened ❤️ Component tips are now available inside the editor, so you don’t need to check the docs every time. As always, you’re in control: turn it on or keep just the preview. #moodle #tinymce #edtech #c4l

To those of you attending the #mootglobal24, don’t miss Dunja Speckner’s talk (moodlemoot.org/2024/timetable…) where she will show how she adapted the Components for Learning plugin to add her nice, custom components, along with the Mebis team.

It’s a shame New Year celebrations happen at midnight. 8.45pm would be ideal.

My gosh, such a harrowing, emotional & visually touching + beautiful story by @giorgialupi for the NYT about her debilitating long COVID nytimes.com/interactive/20… I'm so sorry to hear that you are dealing with this every minute of every day Giorgia. I'm hoping together with you 🫂

You either love the concept of “storytelling” with all your heart or hate it with all your guts. But it’s hard to deny that people remember stories better than isolated facts—and, it’s a fundamental cognitive bias that most people are exposed to. This tendency is central to Ellen Lupton's “Design is Storytelling”, where she explores narrative concepts and their application in design. We've selected a few of these concepts and brought them to life with examples from websites created using Readymag, as well as through scenarios from the tool itself: blog.readymag.com/how-storytelli…

It seems surprising that despite the generative AI boom, there is still no graphical editor that lets you hand draw (e.g. with an Apple pencil or similar) and refines your paths in realtime depending on your goal (diagrams, wireframes, mechanical drawing, mind maps, annotations, tons of use cases!). Every tool I’ve seen seems to have entirely freeform drawing (at best with mild smoothing), entirely structured drawing (e.g. shapes, stickies, washi tape, text, etc.), but little in between. Does this magical freeform-to-structured tool exist and I just haven't found it yet?

Someone at twitter is trying to give me a heart attack today. Remember, keep stroke weight consistent between your icons. Say it with me: ALL👏ICONS👏SHOULD👏BE👏DRAWN👏WITH👏THE👏SAME👏PEN. (from this article alistapart.com/article/the-ki…)
