A brand new laptop is NOT supposed to be slow at boot. Let’s stop defending poor performance with “it’s new” — that’s not how tech works. Here’s the truth: A new laptop should boot faster because: - It usually comes with an SSD (not an old HDD) - It has a newer CPU with better processing speed - RAM is faster and more efficient - The operating system is clean (no clutter yet) So if your “new” laptop is slow to boot, it’s likely because: - It’s using a slow HDD instead of an SSD - Too many startup apps are running - Windows is still doing first-time updates/setup - The system is bloated with pre-installed apps (bloatware) Boot speed is not about “newness” — it’s about STORAGE + PERFORMANCE. A properly configured modern laptop should boot in: 10–20 seconds (SSD) NOT minutes. So no, “it’s new” is not an excuse. If anything, NEW should mean FASTER. Let’s stop normalizing slow tech.
