A guy took a ₹30 lakh home loan from SBI. The loan was sanctioned, and the sanction letter clearly mentioned TIR charges of just ₹3,000. He paid the processing fee, valuation charges, insurance, and all the other required expenses. The bank even disbursed ₹14 lakh in two installments. But nearly two months later, the bank suddenly told him "You now have to pay ₹16,000 as TIR charges." When he asked why, he was told that the bank empanelled lawyer had prepared multiple TIR reports, some for an earlier home loan application in his father's name that was later rejected, and others for his own sanctioned loan. Therefore, he was expected to pay ₹16,000. The most shocking part ? There was no prior disclosur No mention of this in the sanction letter, No invoice, No written fee breakup. Instead, he was asked to transfer the money directly to the empanelled lawyer's bank account. And when he questioned the demand, he was warned that future loan disbursements could be stopped and legal action might follow. The big question is Can a bank demand ₹16,000 in TIR charges after the loan has already been sanctioned and partially disbursed, when the sanction letter clearly mentions only ₹3,000 ? What would you do in this situation ?

Dear @Zomato, This brand named Mahesh Pavbhaji, aka Mahesh Fast Food, is selling food online at much higher prices. Restaurant price: ₹150 Zomato price: ₹270 (GST extra) Why is Zomato allowing such a big price difference? A 10-20% difference is understandable, but this is insane. And please don't say that restaurants decide the prices. We all know that you take commissions from them. Customers are already paying convenience fees (delivery + packaging + rain + platform fees). Customers are being looted in the name of convenience. I personally visited the place and paid only ₹150 instead of ₹341. Hello Zomato, you are a delivery platform, so stop taking commissions from someone else's business. Just because you take commissions, they are charging almost double to us. Otherwise, everyone is okay with paying convenience fees. No hate.
