@andhbhaktism @_kumbhkaran no, 3g had pretty good speed ,i used it myself, i had to recharge with 100mb again n again even in 2gb plan, and even broadband were costly with slow speed and data limits, so for me personally I'm living in heaven with gbps of speed for cheapest

@rohitxtweets @_kumbhkaran because people were using 2G, 3G only. due to the low speed and data required for surfing or downloading, 1GB internet was equal to 10 GB wifi usage today. they already had wifi and LAN Modem for internet connection in their homes. even today we have it, so we dont need 2gb/day.

At that time, call rates were ₹1 per minute. With a ₹10 recharge, you got a balance of ₹7.47 and could talk for only 7 minutes. Even with a tariff plan, the rate was 20 paise per minute, so with a ₹10 recharge you could talk for about 37 minutes. Now, you can talk continuously for an entire month without dropping the call, and that too for just ₹199. Earlier, a 1 GB data recharge used to cost ₹249. Today, it’s available for nearly ₹10. India has many problems, but this is certainly not one of them.

@andhbhaktism @_kumbhkaran even in past it was same problem ,just for opposite set of people , data was costly, so none of those solutions satisfies every set of people, but yeah as a temporary solution if you want only talktime you can get a jiophone ,its like 900rs for a year afaik

I have 2 sims, y wld i need to recharge both with data and unlimited calls pack? i cnt use net only pack & i cnt use talktime balance for calls. i cnt even receive call w/o a 199 package/13 times a year

@_kumbhkaran Nobody wants to talk for hours. people need to recharge Rs.200/- even for incoming calls is THE BIG LOOT. And now people can talk through Internet calls like whatsapp. The elderly people who don't need Internet must be given an option that is cheap.
