one major reason i burnt out of working in politics in my early 20s is because of how much sexual harassment I experienced, mostly from incumbent politicians who had been in power for decades. When I finally reported one particularly bad incident to my bosses, they apologized and took me off the campaign, but didn’t drop the politician as a client. I quit shortly after. The industry of politics has always existed in a culture of pervasive abuse, much like the wider world surrounding it. A man who lost a civil rape trial, is named thousands of times in the Epstein files, and has dozens of allegations against him sits in the oval office. A man who sexually harassed 13 women and then engaged in illegal retaliation against his victims just ran for mayor of NYC last year. Anyone inclined to believe Eric Swalwell and dismiss the credible allegations against him is at best, in denial of the reality of endemic abuse, and at worst, intentionally complicit in protecting Swalwell from accountability

While the world focuses on the destruction in Iran, we must not ignore what Israel is doing in Lebanon. 1,461 have been killed. 4,430 have been injured. 1.2 million have been displaced. Israel now occupies 14% of Lebanon. Enough is enough. No more US military aid to Israel.

Israel has now seized a larger percentage of Lebanon's total landmass than Russia has taken from Ukraine since its 2022 invasion. The latter was immediately met with international uproar and unprecedented multi-sectoral sanctions while the former is barely even mentioned.

Today is Trans Day of Visibility. threats of cali getting bombed & ww3... and im trying to figure out whether to stream for money & a future or spend time with family as much as i can😅 i cant imagine the amount of stress & fear in people that just want a better life that are in the middle or close to a warzone. sitting here unable to sleep thinking about random depressing real life events and how when people die especially in mass all their hopes, dreams, futures & family go with them. Its a reminder of how mortal we are & how things can change in an instant. but, the most I can do is be thankful i get to wake up another day - be as present as possible, live without regrets & spread as much unconditional love as I can. just gotta focus on whats in my control, and how I can positively impact my online & hometowns community. less toxicity, less cursing. no stream today by the way i hate donald trump & if you support him please do not interact with me. thank you!

a lot of you need to internalize that Epstein, Diddy, The State of Israel, etc are real entitites with real victims and not some fictional bad guy to use as a punchline

I have seen this picture cross my feed many times, and every single time it pulls me up short. His little blue lunchbox, the sneakers that are probably a tad too big because he would grow into them, the straps for his glasses so that he didn’t lose them, his checkered shirt that his little hands might have stumbled over in trying to make sure he got every button right, or perhaps his mother bent down to help him with; his mother who he waves goodbye to, who he loved and who loved him so deeply.
