Meghan Trainor has canceled the entirety of "The Get It Girl" Tour two months before it was scheduled to kick off: "Balancing the release of a new album, preparing for a nationwide tour, and welcoming our new baby girl to our growing family of five has just been more than I can take on right now, and I need to be home and present for each and all of them at this time. I know this will come as a disappointment to my fans, and I am so sorry to let you down. But I know this is the right decision for my family and me right now. I promise I'll be back soon, and I can't wait for you to hear this new record. I'm so proud of it, and I'm endlessly grateful for your love and support always." variety.com/2026/music/new…

His book “A VISIT TO PRIAPUS” describes his journey to Maine to have sex with a big dicked guy his friend tells him he has to go fuck.
The Gay Aesthetic@jmlx_john2

Glenway Wescott (b. 11 April 1901) was a prominent American novelist and essayist who was openly gay at a time when such transparency was rare. He is considered a pioneer of gay literary history, known both for his celebrated works like The Pilgrim Hawk (1940 – lauded as a masterpiece of 20th-century American literature) and his voluminous journals, published posthumously as Continual Lessons, which are highly regarded for their masterful and explicit look into mid-century gay life. His breakout novel, The Grandmothers (1927 -- a generational family portrait of pioneer life in Wisconsin) won the prestigious Harper Prize. And Apartment in Athens (1945 --detailing the lives of a Greek family under Nazi occupation) was his most commercially successful work. Wescott's primary life partner was museum curator Monroe Wheeler. Their relationship began in 1919 and lasted nearly 70 years until Wescott's death in 1987. As part of the expatriate community in Paris in the 1920s, they moved in the same circles as Gertrude Stein, F. Scott Fitzgerald, and Ernest Hemingway. Hemingway allegedly based the character Robert Prentiss in The Sun Also Rises on Wescott, although the portrayal was widely seen as unflattering. And Gertrude Stein wrote about him, "There was also Glenway Wescott, but Glenway Wescott at no time interested Gertrude Stein. He has a certain syrup, but it does not pour." Wescott was also a close friend of the novelist Katherine Anne Porter. One of her most vocal champions, he wrote a major appreciation of her long-awaited novel, Ship of Fools, for The Atlantic and the Book-of-the-Month Club upon its 1962 release. Returning to the States in the 1930s, in New York, Wescott and Wheeler moved in a gay social circle that included the members of the PaJaMa Art Collective (Paul Cadmus, Jared French and his wife Margaret), Fidelma Cadmus (sister of Paul) and her husband, polymath Lincoln Kirstein (co-founder of the New York City ballet), artists George Tooker and Bernard Palin, playwright Tennessee Williams, and photographer George Platt Lynes. Their summers on the beaches of Fire Island, Provincetown, and Nantucket are well documented by the photographs taken by the Collective. In Manhattan, Glenway and Monroe shared an apartment with Lynes, whom they had met in France in 1926. For well over a decade, the three maintained a famous "menage à trois" (throuple) until Lynes ended the relationship in 1943 to be with his studio assistant, Jonathan Tichenor. Because of the longevity and openness of his bond with Wheeler, Glenway Wescott is often cited as an early trailblazer for "gay marriage".

@Wilson__Valdez @atrupar Trump isn’t doing his job. He is assigning his governing responsibilities to others who are mostly incompetent and unqualified. Oh and grifters.

Trump: This is a view of the columns as they are going to be made. They're going to be hand-carved and they're beautiful. Top of the line. They'll be corinthian, which is considered the best, most beautiful by far.

Democrats are going to have another chance tomorrow to support election integrity by implementing a commonsense photo ID requirement. Will they stand with Americans? Or will they continue to oppose any meaningful ID requirement at the polls?
