Calgary Flames 4 straight wins since I posted they would wreck their draft pick. Fun to watch, but not what this organization needs right now.

Calgary Flames won’t stay near the bottom - they will win a few games down the stretch and end up 10th or something, and not get a top draft pick. They have perfected the half-tank over the past few decades. Vancouver Canucks - now THAT’S a team committed to sucking!

@FoodProfessor Higher commodity prices would be a factor, but I sometimes hear when land sells now the buyer is a hedge fund, teachers pension fund, financial group, etc. Land is leased back to area farmers, but main reason they bought was investment/speculation
