Hey! I think this is a really, really good question. I also think it's a little tough because the first mints came out in a boom and a lot of other stuff (the 50/50 Ohtanis for example, came out in a bust). What I noticed when I was shopping for first mints (I owned the 6 for a while before it became part of a lego trade and I currently own the #17 🚀🚀🚀, a keystone of "The Tad" collection) is that because everyone had paid so much for them they were really wanting to minimize their losses and that kept prices high. It's hard to take a loss on something you bought for 10k. So you're desperately trying to get at least 2-3k. I bought the 6 for 2k and when the marketplace closed there had been buys for 3k and that's where the floor remained. It's a whole lot easier to sell something like the 50/50 when the initial drop was $50 and someone is offering you $800. That's a big win. I think the first mints will always hold a special place and are an OG collector favorite. First matter a lot for collectibles, too. At the same time, I think that there are some things that will come to rival the first mints in time. Transparently I'm going to hold off on telling everyone what I think could rival the first mints and why at this exact moment because I am an active buyer and I want to see if the marketplace opens and if so what happens when it does (though if you go back through my videos you can probably find clues lol). In short though, yes, first mints hold a premium but I think there's a few things that will rival their popularity and demand in time. Also, yes, video is rad. To me it's the digital equivalent (let's you see and hear) to game worn / used (that lets you touch, feel, smell, taste). Some collectors will prefer static cards just the same way some will prefer game used / worn items. I haven't gone as far down the rabbit hole on those but it seems to me that game used / worn is very popular. I've seen some huge prices on those. I'd expect video to capture a similar collector's imagination.

I wanted to try out Claude Opus 4.6 for a case study and this seemed like a great place to start. The bulk of the bull case is from what Claude put together—I did make some edits for accuracy and (ironically) to make a stronger case for Panini than what it originally gave me.
