In two days operating on the farm, I managed to work 3Y0K on four slots: 20, 17, and 15m (FT8) with 40W and 17m CW (100W) using just a 1/4 wave ground plane and the IC-7300.

How wonderful it is to enjoy the beautiful nature of the farm, and even more so when contemplating this view with the station set up on the porch of the house. QRV HF and satellites in GH52dx.

3Y0K on QO-100 with a massive pile-up (~80 kHz wide)! Glad to work this rare DX from one of the most remote places on Earth. Thanks Alex DL2ALY for the excellent operation.

Living in an apartment in a densely populated area, the noise level on HF is always very high. Today morning in the CQ WW CW I had a pleasant surprise with low noise levels on 20, 15 and 10 meters.

10 years ago I met @AstroIronMike in Dayton. What a nice and friendly person! Before that I had a couple QSO’s with him aboard the ISS. I remember Mike greeting me on the radio: "Good morning Ron, good morning Brazil!"

@ronwerneck At the time of the QSO my polarisation was set to +27 from my vertical to compensate for the small but tricky spatial offset between us. Normally Vertical is used in Europe and and Horizontal in North America
