AI expertise gets outdated really fast. I remember when Stable Diffusion 1.6 came out in November 2023. You had to actually put a lot of stuff to the negative prompt & play with 10+ parameters to get good-quality output out of it + then upscale. Now you can get better outputs with Nano Banana Pro with almost zero skills. Just give it 1 or several reference images and type the prompt. No additional parameters except the aspect ratio. Similarly making good-sounding AI music is easy, but to make lyrics which carry weight and message is still hard, but I think even that will be solved soon.

I'm increasingly sensing that "people who get really good at AI will survive & thrive" is likely a cope It doesn't require much skill, obviously it will also require less & less skill...I don't think any 'edge' you have today as a mere AI 'power user' will last long...
