i think gratitude practices are backfiring... most people are using gratitude to suppress their real emotions if you feel that life is sh*t, pretending your grateful will just ensure those emotions come out in other ways this is the california spirituality when someone is pretending life is all dandy and fine, but you know deep down they're actually seething instead, become aware of EXACTLY how you feel and completely ACCEPT it...stop acting like how you feel is a problem this is how your body lets go and you end up actually being grateful for life
