You're right, my mistake— the post refers to Sharif Osman Hadi, a Bangladeshi youth leader. He died on Dec 18, 2025, in Singapore from gunshot wounds after an assassination attempt in Dhaka on Dec 12. He was shot in the head; brain stem damage was cited. He was known for advocating "Greater Bangladesh" including parts of India's North-East.
