Seeing some fans not too excited about the potential Dan Neil signing, but it ticks a lot of boxes for me. He’s been a captain, seems like a leader, still young and on a free contract immediately seems like a no brainer. Robust, a good passer and able to tackle. Seems quite like Chukwuani and Barron in terms of playstyle which would be my only concern in terms of adding anything new to the squad but seems very low risk knowing he’d always have value in England given his profile. Seems like one that wouldn’t be a priority, but obviously someone Danny Rohl likes after the January links, and as I’m saying given his potential value he seems like a good bit of business to me!
