We hate those we envy or fear. The hatred is concealed homage—a tacit admission that the unpopular person is superior to us.

Defensive Aversion Admiration Fallacy (DAAF). Definition: A cognitive and emotional error wherein an individual unconsciously transforms admiration, envy, or perceived threat into disproportionate hostility while remaining unaware of the underlying mechanism. Common symptoms: Excessive criticism. Irrational fixation. Unexplained hostility. Usage: “Don’t worry Kevin, he’s being DAAF(t). Bless his heart.” Etymology: This quote attributed to theosophist Helen Blavatsky from 1887: “We hate but those whom we envy or fear. Hatred is a concealed and forced homage rendered to the person hated; a tacit admission of the superiority of the unpopular character.”

Narcissists and sociopaths often become doctors and surgeons. They love the status and some crave the pain they can inflict. They’re sick egomaniacs. My ex and I did our birth charts. Part of the chart described your best/likely career paths, and she got surgeon. I pointed it out as another variable that proved her narcissism. There were actually moments when I was strong enough to break her down and get her to admit certain aspects of herself. It never lasted long as the narcissist personality regained composure. The effect it had was “may I CAN get through to her, which prolonged the pain.” It might have even been another manipulation. They’re crafty fuckers!

“i’m not the narcissist you are!” “ you’ll never have someone like me again” “ you’re the dumbest person I’ve ever met” “I’m schizotypal, just like Leonardo da Vinci” “ I’m a heyoka empath” “ you’re nothing without me” “Greg Hetson of the circle jerks called me an authentic punk” “ I dated two rappers” “ I can be wrong. I admit to being wrong all the time.” “ I’m not the abuser. It’s reactive abuse” “ I’m a clinical neuropsychologist, way smarter than you are” “ I got 4 degrees in 6 years” “ everyone I’ve ever worked with loves me” “ I don’t like going out because I absorb others energy” “ i’m not a hoarder I’m a collector” “ honestly, I’ve never met anyone as smart as I am.”

Whoa. That video made me uneasy. I had to read the Wikipedia 😂 I love the sound though. Very synth-pop sounding, one of my favorite genres. What’s weird is that the song is so familiar to me, yet I don’t know where I would have heard it. I had an Italian buddy about that time who’d spend his summers in Italy and France. He’d come back with some wild pop songs. Jungle boy was one lol I handed him a tape of the Violent Femmes to bring back. He claimed his entire town of 700 people became completely obsessed with the band, and a massive contingent of them went to Milan to see them live in 1985. What’s gross is that last year I finally looked into the bands lyrics… it seems they were top tier pedophiles. The lyrics are really sick. And the xylophone on gone daddy gone, the album cover… suddenly it all made sense. 😣 youtu.be/xA3cBe6zEyQ?si…

Maybe men wouldn't feel so attacked by feminism if their masculinity wasn't dependent on controlling women.

I can’t believe there are women out there who ignore the men in their comment sections. I talk to all of you. You’re just humans. Women always like to think they’re better than everyone else.

My dad yelled at me once, “you embarrassed me in front of a stranger!” He has low-key schizophrenia with catatonia. Can you think of another condition he might have that would cause him to say that other than narcissism? I’m still baffled by this because I could give a fuck what strangers think.

Here’s what people don’t understand about narcissists: they don’t actually feel superior. They feel fundamentally empty. And that emptiness is unbearable. So they construct an identity on top of the emptiness. A superior identity. A special identity. An identity that matters. And they spend their entire life looking for people to confirm that identity. Because confirmation from outside is the only way to fill the emptiness inside. But it never actually fills it. So they keep looking. Keep manipulating. Keep extracting. Always chasing the feeling that will finally make them feel real. And it never comes.

Studio Ghibli is the Japanese Disney. Films like “My Neighbor Totoro” and “Kiki’s Delivery Service”. The stories tend to have more meaning for society, often environmentalism. Some of the themes are dark, but important. If you want recommendation, I feel like you would like Kiki’s delivery service. 😊 like Scotland, the Japanese love black cats. ❤️ I absolutely love Shrek and Oliver and the sound of music. The parent trap is a good one.
