@decka1969 @iangregory70 Mate it’s been widely reported and spoken about by Eddie that Wissa, Elanga and Ramsey were long term targets regularly scouted by the recruitment team. Fair enough Walte and Thiaw were maybe panic buys but those three definitely weren’t

@iangregory70 Probably because the players we actually wanted went elsewhere for more money. We can't compete wages wise so we get our 3rd/4th choice players. That's where we are as a club and it will be like that for yrs to come.

We had 2nd place in our hands with a few games to go last season and outplayed the champions in a cup final. The talk should be why we're miles off that after spending 250m. #NUFC

@ross2382 You know Wissa and Woltemade weren't first choice. The guy that put 2 past us was and Liverpool paid double what either of them were mate. Neither have the pace of Gordon. Up until they scored we were miles better than them. We just didn't finish them off when we should have.
