Understandable the NW situation but while he did get goals for a period much of his play left a lot to be desired, he does need to adapt-main annoyance was that his hold up wasn’t strong enough but at the same time he didn’t know how to buy a free kicks & lost it recklessly #nufc

So far today I’ve seen an account that was desperate to sign Hato and Simons last summer calling for Howe’s head, a number saying we should never have let Maxi leave as he was the low block destroyer and that everyone new last summer that Elanga and Wissa were duds… #nufc

That midfield has dictated our intensity and it has been destroyed, replacing Isak’s goal threat and numbers was always going to be a challenge - NW started well but his deficiencies outweighed his effective goal threat and Wissa never got going 2/2

I’d be intrigued to know how many games Bruno, Joe and Tonali have played together this season, that combined with the absence of Schär and Burn for long periods, uncertain goalkeeping and the inconsistent new front line is what has caused the decline of #nufc this season 1/2

Whatever will be will be but the vitriol towards Howe from some fans is ridiculous-narratives being re-written, coaching ability being ridiculed and previous achievements and style being revisioned as ‘never played good football’ -let’s not rewrite the last 4 seasons eh.. #nufc
