@JayIsAngry ah. in that regard I agree. I was thinking about marketing driven user flows and forced SEO metrics. I didn't see progression for that though. it's always been that way to my knowledge.

@rossable Needlessly complex machinery (frameworks, build processes, deployments, etc.) built to achieve a simple end result (delivering web content).

@lizzyjensenn no longer going does not invalidate your personal beliefs. church can be a valuable support network such as with friends, family, etc. go if you find value, not out of obligation or manipulations.

I also want to put out there that I'm doing a complete address of mechanics to play blind/limited vision and/or deaf/hard of hearing spellcasters in D&D 5e. It will cover *everything* from combat to AOE and targeted spells as well as a section on roleplaying. This will be free.

☛ Not identical. Not pixel-perfect. As web designers and developers, “our aim is to ensure that no matter how a user chooses to explore our sites, content is perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust." @somelaniesaid alistapart.com/article/semant…

@dirtbagboyfren Wait... what? Marriage isn't just a contractual agreement for tax benefit and societal conformity? I think my views may be very similar to yours.

Did u know that some browsers make ”an educated guess“ to determine if a <table> is a data table or a layout table? That affects whether or not it is exposed to #a11y APIs. “Browsers look at the number of rows, columns & if the rows alternate in color”!! codepen.io/dexterperrin/f…

@dirtbagboyfren Is this an urban setting or wilderness? As a libertarian emergency prepared survival enthusiast, I'm interested in play testing this game. Legit super looking forward to this becoming a reality.

here is the open source vanilla JS code for my #a11y loading spinner that can be used for any loading element (ideal for lazy-loading or single page apps). it dynamically adds and removes all that is needed for the spinner and a polite live-region update. gist.github.com/rossable/ddef3…

a few years ago i made a loading spinner for a client doing an accessibility overhaul. i was encouraged to make it an open source solution and i've taken it with me from role to role, having updated it along the way a bit. i realized today that i never advertised or promoted it.
