Donna, TX: A family has filed a lawsuit against the federal government following a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement operation at their residence. The legal action questions whether ICE agents had proper authorization to enter the private property. Footage from the incident shows ICE personnel climbing over a fence into the family's backyard on January 9, around 7 a.m. The complaint states that Humberto Garcia noticed unmarked trucks outside the home he shares with his three sisters Andrea, Anna, and a minor referred to as L.G. along with their parents. The lawsuit notes that the parents are noncitizens who were actively pursuing lawful permanent resident status at the time.

These editorial writers can't read or think. The state didn't force Austin or other cities into a contract. The cities signed a contract to get money from the state. After they got the money, the cities refused to comply with the contract terms. Those terms include a requirement that the cities repay the state all the money they got if they don't comply with the contract. Enforcement of the contract doesn't defund police. I signed a law preventing defunding the police. Under that law the cities still have to fully fund their police--they just have to find other funds in their budgets to pay for it. If the cities didn't like the contract terms, they should have never entered into it. By the way, the contract is just one page, with clear requirements and consequences for failing to comply. As to local control, entering into the contract was a local decision. Breaching the contract is a local decision. statesman.com/opinion/editor… via @statesman

Smelling weed in public for me is like smelling the little baked pie on the windowsill in cartoons I can't lie

I refuse to believe those people faking outrage against @HEB for *checks notes* ...selling a variety of food options and providing jobs... are real. Like, there's no way. Gotta be bots and AI slop. Or Kroger taking one last shot before they are completely exiled from TX 😂

This incident was captured by Sinistratm on Instagram and took place April 14, 2026 in Brooklyn at a liquor store on Hoyt and Baltic street. Brooklyn North Narcotics attempt to arrest a suspect who resists arrest when chaos ensues. What do you all think about this incident?

Texas based HEB is a disgrace for pandering to Islam. As the Islamic invasion continues to rage on, HEB decided it would be a good idea to cater to Islam by offering Halal. It’s absolutely disgusting!

We don't need to import 7-Eleven workers from India or anywhere across the globe. Hire Americans.
