Donna, TX: The family whose two parents were detained and deported back to Mexico is now suing the federal government over the ICE raid I posted on February 21. They are claiming the agents violated their 4th Amendment rights against unreasonable searches and seizures plus their 5th Amendment right to due process. It seems the DOJ is perfectly content sitting back on the defensive while families across the country keep filing these lawsuits. The Trump DOJ has been the single greatest disappointment in his entire administration for me.

I think because of humane reasons I’d rather eat halal meat.
