I'd rather have no Doctor Who at all tbh. If you're going to do Doctor Who, actually commit to it. It may be a format that works elsewhere, but it fundamentally is not what Doctor Who is about. It thrives as a monster of the week show that runs for a solid 2 months.

If #DoctorWho ever does return, I can easily see it being transformed into a #Sherlock style 3x90 minute Special event-series. They'll air in November close to the Anniversary, with a Christmas Special a month later. Each special will be like a movie. Audios can fill the gaps.

The reason the death scenes are censored like this is because game journalists saw the gruesome death scenes in the first Tomb Raider remake and said, "Yeah these are inherently sexualized deaths." TL;DR - Some game journos have a weird gore fetish, got uncomfortable, so now we can't have violent deaths in Tomb Raider anymore.

A little bit late, but there's been an unofficial recomp / PC port of Skate 3 that's been made and released last week. Still in early stages, so expect bugs and only supports 1080p but supports up to 120hz, and physics timing settings (which I'll admit I don't know anything about), sound seems perfect, but does stutter quite a bit atm. Supports controllers and KB/M BUGS: Like I noticed it stutters a lot and my mouse cursor tends to get stuck in the middle of the screen and not disappear. Also for NVidia users, if you save any photos or videos, it either saves them to "desktop" or "Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3" (for some reason)

Halo is not dated, MGS3 is not dated (even MGS1 is not dated), RE4 is not dated (though the remake is still quite good, if unnecessary), basically none of these games getting remakes are dated and the remake is there to farm money on nostalgia

@Bmoney9722 there were games with more "modern" third person shooting mechanics that came out before RE4, its ridiculous to suggest they werent capable of making such a system rather than making the deliberate choice of making the game use tank controls and stationary aiming

@roxaplasm The game came out in 2005. But had been worked on way berore then. During development yeah, it is pretty obvious they did not know how to implement at that time thus game was designed around tank controls
