One bad joke in chat almost cost me everything. I remember one stream where I was playing Valorant and had a decent group of viewers watching. Out of nowhere, one of my VIPs dropped something completely wild: “Alist likes minors.” I immediately shut it down and said, “Yo, you cannot say that here.” I ended up having to remove three VIPs right on the spot. I explained to them, “You can’t joke like that, bro. Someone’s going to take it and run with it.” They tried to brush it off with “It was just a joke,” but I stayed calm and told them straight up, “I’ve got a viewer right here going ‘What the f**k is going on?’ right now. That kind of talk isn’t okay.” I reassured the rest of the chat, made it clear that kind of “joke” crosses the line, and moved on. After I removed those VIPs, they never came back. That was the breaking point for them.
