Some personal news: I will be leaving @FrictionlessVC.
It has been a pleasure working with the team over the last couple years.
Frictionless is one of the best venture capital firms in the crypto ecosystem, a truly thesis-driven, first-principles focused firm committed to backing exceptional founders.
I have spent the last 8 years in crypto and have been full-time in the industry since joining the team in 2024, and it has been nothing but a pleasure.
Building alongside @LoganJastremski and @SolanaLegend has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. The focus on integrity, long-term thinking, and high-conviction investing has brought the firm to where it is today.
Excited for what is ahead. Updates to come.

I just finished speaking at Consensus Hong Kong, which also happened to be my last public appearance as CEO of @TrustWallet as I have completed my 4-year term. I’m stepping down to begin a new chapter (still in the bigger ecosystem). I’m deeply grateful to our team, community and partners, none of this happens without you. Together, we: 1. Grew from 40M to 230M users 2. Turned losing ~$10M/year into near 8‑figure revenue last year 3. Expanded mobile active user market share from 15% to just under 30% 4. Shipped 6 TWT utilities in phase 1 (with more to come) 5. Responded to a major security incident (which is unfortunate) and have already reimbursed ~50% to verified victims in 4 weeks, far faster than the typical 6‑month benchmark - while strengthening our security end-to-end for a stronger foundation. Above all, I thank God for sustaining us through both the highs and lows with peace, and lead with integrity. @TrustWallet is on strong footing for what’s next. After months of transition (way before the recent incident), I’m honored to pass the baton to @felix_Fan, a proven product builder and leader in our space. Trust’s future is in great hands for the next phase of growth! 💙 As blockchain becomes foundational to how people interact with assets in the future economy, Trust Wallet is uniquely positioned to make a lasting impact. I topblasted $cow last night, so far it is paying off.
Unless I am retarded - how is this not going to run hard like $whitewhale did?
My thesis is stupidly simple:
Betting on ego + number goes up is the best form of marketing.
I don't know much about the guy except that he is stupidly rich and that this thing has some sort of insane buyback mechanism that should keep the ponzi going.
Assuming as well that he will bid like WW did to grow his brand and product.
Maybe I am drinking too much hopium because the trade definitely isn't consensus atm, but maybe for once the market is wrong and not me.
I will watch to see how it goes today but so far so good.
Looking forward more updates and hoping for the best.
Maybe I really did click the right button this time.
