Also, just seen a Fox wandering around the edge of the reed bed. We’ve got lots of Rats at the Country Park, so I’m not totally sure who’s responsible for any predation.

It’s doesn’t feel like we’re going to have a successful breeding season at SCP this year. At the weekend I was told most of Mallard ducklings got predated. Yesterday I witnessed baby Coots climbing out of their nest, today they are missing & parents are rebuilding the nest.
