instead of watching 2 hours of Netflix tonight, watch this Stanford lecture
it's the clearest explanation I've seen of how ChatGPT and Claude actually work
useful whether you've never touched AI in your life or have been using it every day for the past year
I took the key ideas and turned them into a practical guide on how to actually get 100% out of Claude

While we, in Alabama, may know tomorrow as #ElectionDay, we should also see it as "Take Your Child to Vote Day." Political socialization begins at an early age, and children are curious about voting. Bring your child along and talk them through the process.

It didn't come from a politician.

It was a rare day when the call was clear: Representation matters, and it can only be righteously claimed by the voters choosing the officials. Not the other way around.

Republican attacks on voting rights, history and culture, Blacks (especially Black women) in the federal workforce, continued health disparities and investment in Black businesses should fuel a fire that propels Black voters to the polls again.

As I stood over Gov. Kay Ivey’s left shoulder and watched her sign, I thought of my parents, of all the Johnsons, Rolands, Brookes and more ancestors who endured far more that I would have to. I saw a few of their faces. And felt their smiles.

My heart goes out to the 135 workers and families impacted by the Central Alabama Water layoffs. Behind every headline are real people facing real uncertainty.
I appreciate our Mayor stepping up to identify opportunities within the city for those affected.
Over the next few days, my team and I will also be working on a plan for how we can support families who have been impacted.
When people are hurting, the Church should not just speak. The Church should serve.
Praying for every family today. 🙏🏽

"Good conscience should be easy to embrace when injustice is evident," columnist @roysj writes on Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey's commutation today of Charles Lee "Sonny" Burton's death penalty. "Yet rarely so in Alabama. Rarely even under Ivey."

Maryland's @GovWesMoore is an "unapologetic Child of God" who citied the Bible more in our brief chat than the current president has since, well, maybe ever.

We become journalists for many reasons - expose corruption, shed light in dark places, share stories that need to be told, and to afflict the comfortable while comforting the afflicted. When our words and work saves lives, it is a blessing beyond all others. #grateful
