Just got this @Carvana offer for my 2025 @Tesla Cybertruck… $71,200 cash offer, expires in ONE WEEK (Sat Apr 11). Is this a W or are they still lowballing? 📐 Cybertruck owners: What’s the best offer YOU’VE gotten from Carvana lately? What would you do? A) Take the $71k and run B) Hold for private sale C) Try to negotiate higher with Carvana D) Keep the truck forever

Greetings from Washington, DC, (I forgot to take a plane pic) where it’s a balmy 71 at night. I’m here for a while, again leaving my new home in LA in boxes, though fewer of them. Say hi if you’re in town, folks.

@spotted_model That's what carmax is hoping to get. CarMax is overpriced on all their cars. That price doesn't reflect what the actual owner got which trade in value is about 10k less. But I'm sure that one will sell considering a new one cost 10k less than that🤪🤪🤪

Sad to see that they only delivered 3093, Q1 2025 they delivered 3109. But, there was a stop sale on the Gravity so that really hurt and I’m sure they’re still catching up from that. Will be curious to see Q2 numbers - I’d say many of those extra vehicles they produced are sold and pending delivery. Without the stop sale, my guess is they would have delivered 5000 in Q1 2026
Lucid Motors@LucidMotors

For the quarter ending March 31, Lucid produced 5,500 vehicles and delivered 3,093 vehicles.   Lucid will share its Q1 financial results on May 5, 2026, at 2:30 pm PT / 5:30 pm ET.

My teslas with radar vs full vision have been way crazier. And my other cars with normal radar are no where near the level and throw faults. I have 32k miles on my cybertruck that has turned 1 year old today. It’s really incredible. Every bmw radar Mercedes etc have not worked near as well.

@thy_law_ @minjecoin @JoelHman @qualtrim It’s an app… it’s nothing more. People move on to new apps constantly. If you offer 1 free ride with downloading a new app you captured Uber’s market.

Bill Ackman believes "the highest quality businesses in the world are trading extremely cheap". Here's a list of some of the businesses he's talking about: 1. $UBER - Uber Technologies - Sept 2025 = 24.7x FCF - Mar 2026 = 14.9x FCF

Some of the highest quality businesses in the world are trading at extremely cheap prices. Ignore the MSM. One of the most one-sided wars in history that will end well for the U.S. and the world. And we have the potential for a large peace dividend. One of the best times in a long time to buy quality. Ignore the bears.

1. Eco system of what? You’re using a word you don’t understand. It’s an app that connects end consumers to Individual contractors. AV taxi services will not need to have that to be facilitated. They don’t have any transport assets either. They grift in a whole with services individuals need. Let’s say someone who can scale it’s only going to be zoox,Waymo and Tesla at this point. None of them will pay uber the same profit margin they get from individual contractor drivers. Their revenue will drop even if partnered which will not happen if they don’t have to have individual contractors uber is using to cover service gaps. Waymo is already doing this lol ATL doesn’t have many so it’s on uber but LAX and phx use Waymo’s app. They will use uber until they don’t need them. 2. If there are no drivers and you own the cars as a corporate entity why would you pay an outside company to run an app for you? If you’re able to secure insurance via self insurance, which every company is able to do.

@rp1016 @JoelHman @qualtrim 1. It is an ecosystem. I don’t have time to explain why. You should figure it out yourself 2. I don’t think you understand the purpose of the app. It directly connects drivers to the customers and any other app would have the same revenue structure.

@TheInvestorJavi @qualtrim Or even transportation assets. They will have to partner with a self driving producer but again if these companies are able to scale there’s no reason to utilize uber overlap with service limitations.

It’s not even a software company it’s an app. That’s the integration with their consumers. Uber connects drivers that pay a fee to utilize that app because they can’t make a top 10 app. Also they can’t cover insurance for commercial rides at scale on an individual level. Every large Robotaxi in development can accomplish this with ease. Why would they pay uber 30% of rides for this it’s illogical. Uber is not transportation they have no infrastructure besides an app. They don’t even have transportation employees!!!

Uber is an app not an eco system. It’s utter garbage that steals from drivers essentially. Why would a robocab operator Waymo/tesla/zoox etc etc use uber they have 1000s of engineers who can write a similar or superior app and not have to pay a cut. The reason drivers use uber is because they can’t write an app or get commercial insurance at scale. Waymo is just using that partnership in certain markets because they have limited vehicles.
