It’s been suggested a Wayne Gretzky rookie card (mint) will fetch $1 million dollars American at auction this week. I collected for the fun and gum, not profit. All of these are rookie cards.

@TorontoStar I have Gretzk Rookie, 2nd & 3rd years. Rookie is not mint, but I’ll never forget getting it. I was a hardcore collector at 9years old in Kitchener. I bought & traded to complete that set...all with my paper route money. The gum was terrible!
