@sandhyaravishan All the people u have mentioned had decades of political experience and faced many elections (including local) before they became CM. Vijay is a total and absolute green horn. I am not a Vijay supporter & didn't vote for him.

I hear a lot of people saying Vijay is a new CM and he needs time to understand and learn. When Annadurai took oath in 1967, he was a brand new CM too. So were Karunanidhi, MGR and Jayalalithaa. Did anyone give them 6 months to learn? They hit the ground running. Because they had good advisors who understood governance. The current CM's advisors know zilch about politics, let alone about governance. I'm really worried for my state.

Not doing this is allowing western academics to interpret our literature through their colonialist and missionary lens and spread hatred for us throughout the world. Today's Varada Chaturthi Alankara of Sri Anegudde Vinayaka from Kumbhasi, Kundapura 🌺 Legend of Kadiyali Shri Mahishmardini Devasthan at Udupi Kadiyali Mahishamardini Temple of Udupi is one of the oldest temples in the district of South Kanara and has a history of more than 1200 years. The unique features of the murti are as follows: The murti of Sri Mahishamardini is in a standing posture. She has four arms. In Her upper right hand, She holds the Prayaga Chakra (the discus) and in Her upper left hand, the Shanka (conch shell). She is piercing the head of Mahishaasura, the buffalo shaped demon, who has fallen at Her feet, with the Trishul (Trident) held in Her lower right hand. She is pulling the tail of Mahishaasura with Her lower left hand. This emphatically portrays the helplessness of the Demon whose abdomen is bulging due to the pressure exerted by the pulling of his tail. The bearing of the Goddess in the standing posture, Her facial expression and the casual way of Her holding the weapons shows that it is but a child's play for Her to vanquish evil. This is a murti of unique beauty, devoid of any ornamental trappings. One falls under Her divine spell the moment they lay eyes on Her. #Anegudde #Udupi #Kundapura

@ananyashasau I got my passport in 1992 (or so)...and I have renewed twice already. Absolutely not a bit of a problem. Zero bribe. The police who came for verification on all occasions did not even accept a glass of water from us.

Is there even a single person in India whose passport was made without paying a bribe? 😭 Are any of you here that lucky? And if not, how much did you have to pay?
