While @yuval_abraham and @basel_adra beautiful partnership doesn’t reflect the reality of Palestinian-Israeli relations on the ground, the movie absolutely does. Incredible to see Masafer Yatta’s story and the struggle against forced displacement and the occupation at the Oscars.

Congratulations to Basel Adra, the first Palestinian director to win an #Oscar, for his award for the documentary, No Other Land. Another great achievement for a special Palestinian talent who also comes from the targeted and deprived community of Masafer Yatta, and faced by constant attacks, displacements and house demolitions by Israel’s occupations forces and settler militias. Yes “there is another way.”
