LACROSSE | Two THSLL @texas_lacrosse titles will go to private school teams, and possibly four (out of 5). AA - Episcopal School of Dallas and Jesuit are still in the mix. C -- Dallas Parish Episcopal School vs. Regents School of Austin could happen too. Classes A and D will definitely have a private school champion. In class C (not pictured below), Episcopal School of Dallas and Dallas Jesuit's B teams both lost in the quarterfinals.

Alliances are basically meant to defend other countries from danger. Regarding Iran, the U.S. saw a potential threat to its security if it gained a nuclear weapon. I would argue that there was a low probability that it would conduct a nuclear attack, but the consequences are high. So the question is if allied nations are obligated to come to the aid of their allies, does a reasonable fear of an attack compel allied actions, or must the attack already take place. From my point of view, a true, effective alliance must on occasions be prepared to act to prevent the attack. In Iran, I’d argue that nuclear weapons acquisition might pose a significant threat to the U.S., and it is reasonable for the U.S. to act pre-emptively. Whether or not this was necessary for the U.S. is subject to debate, but the question remains: If the elected president of the U.S. fears such an attack, are the allies obligated to join him in defensive action? These are very complicated issues, and alliances are very complicated things. The problem with alliances is that each nation draws its own conclusions based on its own national interest. This is normal. If alliances can only be triggered after catastrophic events, then they have limited value. On the other hand, there can be no real alliance if nations cannot also act if a reasonable fear exists. The question here is whether this fear was reasonable or whether the allies were looking for a way to avoid action. If the U.S. didn’t inform its allies ahead of time of the pre-emptive attack, its allies have a case. If, on the other hand, the U.S. did not tell the allies because it did not trust the allies to keep it secret, then it’s a serious question about the quality of the alliance. My own personal view is that Iran’s refusal to end its nuclear program posed a potentially significant threat to the U.S.

@George_Friedman Tulsa Gabbard, Trumps own director of national intelligence, said Iran was not pursuing a nuke under oath. Her testimony was after we attacked them (during negotiations). Why do we have to guess on this? It's a widely available fact we only did this to promote Israel's agenda
