Very disappointing to see a prominent local businessman encouraging pro-traffic people to make multiple submissions in the Mill Rd bridge consultation. Clearly not confident that they have the support of local people for their views (they don't).

Lack of footprints seems to imply that the barriers at the @Grand_Arcade aren’t forcing people on standard cycles to dismount. But they very much do cause a massive issue for those with non-standard cycles (like a trailer full of kids) to navigate. They need to go.

Good to see this kind of analysis. I'd like to see more emphasis on future technologies too - carbon removal, fusion, SMRs, novel materials, next generation batteries etc. UK has incredible depth of scientific, technical and start-up talent at these frontiers.

This war on motorists, when's it beginning? Because every street round here is still almost entirely monopolised by the motor car. As are some of the pavements where neighbours' cars are longer than their front yards, so we have to walk in the road.
