The backlash against AI data centers is not just justified -- it is inevitable. Communities across the United States are waking up to the hidden costs they bear while tech corporations reap the profits. These centers are being shoved into residential areas, driving up electricity bills, stealing water, and flooding neighborhoods with noise and light pollution. The real agenda is profit and control, not progress. People are right to be furious. In Okeechobee County, Florida, a proposed $1.5 million data center campus was scrapped after unanimous opposition from local ranchers and residents, with the project receiving state funding that was ultimately rejected. This is not NIMBYism; it is self-defense. As I have long argued, the corporate playbook is to privatize gains and socialize costs, and data centers are the latest example of this predatory model. Consumers are forced to subsidize data centers through higher utility rates, while their water pressure drops and property values plummet. Light and noise pollution rob families of sleep and peace, and water contamination from cooling systems is a documented health hazard. Read the full article here: The War on Data Centers: Why the Backlash Is Justified and What Comes Next naturalnews.com/2026-05-11-war…

Did the PGA Championship lose some of its luster with its move to May? All my life the PGA was “Glory’s Last Shot”. The last major of the year. The last chance for immorality. Now it’s crammed in between the Masters and US Open. Just feels lost.

The U.S. already has 5,500 data centers that use 449 million gallons of water a day. They’re being built on farmland so in addition to taking away our water they’re taking away our food supply all for mass surveillance, AI slop, and to make billionaires richer. These data centers will ultimately lead to our extinction if we don’t stop them.

It’s always pleasant to know that the people you stand beside and fight alongside are genuinely good at heart, kind, grounded and guided by a strong moral compass. Beautiful both inside and out. I always believed @RealCandaceO was that kind of person, but after this interview, I’m convinced she is even more than that. A true fighter. Thank you, Candace, for standing up for what’s right and continuing to fight for truth and justice! GO MAX!

@HealthRanger What in the world has happened to Hillsdale? What are they thinking? This is a travesty. With this sham degree they've lost all relevance as a meaningful institution. I find this very sad. Like the sudden loss of a good friend.

@DineshDSouza Inasmuch as Israel is ALWAYS the aggressor, it is perfectly reasonable for Iran to have any weapon necessary to defend itself against an amoral, genocidal neighbor. Unfortunately--thanks to Trump--we are now partners with Rothschild Israel; the world's two most loathsome regimes.

The time has come for States and States Attorney Generals to start holding the federal government responsible for massive violations of the financial management laws. Time to turn off the money tap that funds the federal governments ongoing violations of the law and State powers under the Constitution.

I spoke with @krystalball and @esaagar about how industry lobbyists for the factory food mega-corporations are trying to abolish US animal abuse laws, including ones enacted by states, and the lessons from the recent success in freeing beagles from gruesome experimentation:

🚨End of Vehicle Privacy Your car is no longer your car. New vehicles come loaded with cameras pointed at your face, always-on microphones, and tracking tech that logs everywhere you go. People are pushing back hard—they want their vehicles to stay private sanctuaries, not rolling surveillance devices feeding data straight to governments and corporations. Traditional search and seizure protections are being erased. Warrants? Probable cause? Soon irrelevant when you’ve already “consented” by driving a modern car. This is the highway to technocracy—total tracking, total control, the death of privacy. Are you going to accept a camera in your face every time you drive? Or is this the line we draw?

A profound reality check. Former US Army Colonel Douglas Macgregor confirms the entire global community views Iran as a heroic state for bravely standing up to the aggressive bullying of the United States and Israel. Washington is completely isolated on the world stage.

This is stunning. To solve a problem that didn’t exist (a nuclear weapons program which US intelligence confirmed has not existed since 2003) in search of an outcome that air power alone could not accomplish (the military defeat of a country as big as much of western Europe), we have squandered the blood of hundreds of Americans (including 13 dead), the loss of 16 military bases, the destruction of scores of aircraft and billions of dollars worth of high-tech radar systems, and laid the foundation for likely global recession and possibly depression. And we are shelling out $1.5 billion PER DAY to continue deepening our failure. That is a profound casualty and loss statement for a war of choice that was obviously doomed to fail before it started.
Stephen Semler@stephensemler

The US has spent an estimated $71.8 billion on the Iran War, or $1.2 billion per day on average.

Thomas Massie: “The Epstein class is above party.” “They don’t associate as Republicans or Democrats.” “They’re above judges.” “They’ve got visa waivers.” “They fly private planes.” “They don’t mingle with the public.” “John Paulson, one of the three billionaires who’ve [funded my opponent], was in Epstein’s phone book.” “He also was implicated in these files as … reaching out to Jeffrey Epstein to get money from him to honor Howard Lutnick.” “It’s a really small world when you get into the billionaires.” “And they’re not partisans.” “My hat’s off to Marjorie Taylor Greene for taking on those threats.” “Lauren Boebert … they took her into the situation room and tried to whip her into taking her name off of the discharge petition.” “And then the President vetoed a bill that would’ve brought water to a large portion of Colorado over Epstein.” “It’s not just about Lauren Boebert.” “Why are people in Colorado deprived of water because their representative wants to expose a sex trafficking ring?” Tucker Carlson: “Why do you think Epstein, of all issues, is the one that Donald Trump was willing to destroy his presidency over?” Massie: “The people who are funding the ballroom, the people who are funding the arch, the people who are funding the rebranding of the Kennedy Center, these are the people who are also funding my opponent.” “These are the people who have the ear of the President.” “These are the people who are dominating our foreign policy decisions.” “And these are also the same people who are in the Epstein files, by large part, or their friends are.” This is the issue that pushed Trump and the Epstein class to spend $10 million desperately trying to defeat Massie. And the race is closer than you think. His campaign needs all of our help right now to survive. @RepThomasMassie @MassieforKY @TuckerCarlson
