During his visit, Jathedar Gargajj will participate in a Gurmat Samagam at Gurdwara Guru Garib Niwaz, Hayes, London, marking the Parkash Gurpurab of Sri Guru Har Krishan Sahib Ji. He will also address the congregation on Sikh philosophy and Panthic affairs.

To mark the 100th martyrdom anniversary of Sardar Teja Singh Samundri, Delhi Lieutenant Governor Sardar @SandhuTaranjitS organised a special Shabad Kirtan at Gurdwara Rakab Ganj Sahib in New Delhi today. The SGPC also held a major commemorative function at Teja Singh Samundri Hall in Amritsar. Sardar Teja Singh Samundri (1882–1926) was a pioneering Sikh reformer, a founding member of the SGPC and a leading figure of the historic Gurdwara Reform Movement. He devoted his life to strengthening Sikh institutions and died in Lahore Jail on 17 July 1926.

The FlyBrary was created at Amritsar Airport as a “Take a Book, Leave a Book” initiative — to encourage travellers to read while waiting for their flights and to keep books circulating through public participation.
