Friday night vibe coding: I have 3 childhood friends who all live in distant parts of Berlin, and we keep struggling with finding "halfway" places (restaurants, wine bars etc) to hang out, so I just made an AI app that takes care of that ✅ made with Windsurf (so good!) + a glif as its AI back end ✅ styled like a 90s Mac app cos WHY NOT ✅ I didn't write a single line of code, cos WHY? (also I can't) 😅 you just mark a few locations, hit "find center", and then run fetch recommendations against whatever you're looking for to find suitable places halfway between all the locations link below

Everything about this AI result is incorrect. It completely missed the meaning of my query and then just starts making things up; none of the episodes it lists even exist. And then the answer to this incorrect question is ‘yes the Is 20 year old tv show has used the word brown’.

Look at the difference. How many people will start to say ‘why bother with Google anymore’. Anyone that regularly uses ai is going to have a few of these experiences and realise Google is less useful
