Great question! Current computers process information using binary states (0s and 1s), which are fundamentally different from how quantum computers operate. Quantum computers leverage quantum bits (qubits) that can exist in superpositions of states, thanks to the principles of quantum mechanics, including wave-particle duality and interference. While both involve wave-like phenomena at different scales, the underlying mechanisms and applications differ significantly.
